| Pastry Chef/Baker: Position reports directly to owner. Bakers are responsible for ensuring the high-quality level of Hello Cupcakes. You must learn and stay true to the recipes and be responsible for all stages of mixing, baking and decorating cupcakes. You will track inventory and place orders with vendors; work with owner to keep menu interesting, developing seasonal, specialty, holiday flavors, and boxed assortments. Manage and execute cleaning and service schedule for all bakery equipment. You also will be responsible for managing Prep Chefs and Cupcake Artists. Professional bakery experience and/or pastry degree required. Bakery and/or kitchen management preferred. |

Prep Chef: Prep Chefs are responsible for aiding our bakers as part of a team to make the cupcakes fresh and in abundance all day long. You will zest and juice the lemons, toast the walnuts, grate the carrots, prep and mix dry ingredients for next-shift baking, ensure frosting quality / consistency, fill the pastry bags, prep trays for display, and more as needed by bakers. |

Cupcake Artist: You will create decorations for our seasonal / specialty and Bespoke Cupcakes, decorate cupcake towers for custom event orders, advise customers on custom cupcake artistry, and work with our bakers to help customers realize their custom cupcake vision. Previous cake decorating experience preferred (esp. working with sugarpaste and/or fondant) but not required. We really do want an artist here…think of it as working in a new medium! |
| Assistant Manager and/or Shift Manager: (depends on experience) You will have overall responsibility for ensuring quality products and stellar customer service during the shift; manage staff and cash; monitor cleanliness and sanitation of all areas of the shop; take and track advance / custom orders; track inventory levels for front-of-house beverage items and merchandise. Ensure fast and smooth movement of cupcakes from kitchen to sales area. Monitor cupcake sales area and customer satisfaction. Previous experience as a manager or assistant manager in retail, coffee, bakery, or QSR environment required. |

Customer Service/Cashier: You are the face of Hello Cupcake – our closest, direct contact with
customers. You will be taking and filling orders in a busy environment. As such, you must keep a sunny disposition and work well under pressure. Previous retail experience preferred but not required. Shifts will rotate between filling orders at the cupcake display area and point of sale/cashier. Must Love Cupcakes. |

Barista: Responsible for all beverages, both those made in-house and pre-bottled. Make espresso beverages to order. Keep beverages areas stocked and clean. Also must run point of sale station as needed. Barista experience preferred. |
