We finally signed our lease! Hello Cupcake will be located at 1361 Connecticut Avenue, NW, just south of Dupont Circle, across from the Metro. Thanks to everyone out there who provided help and encouragement during the process of finding our retail storefront.

Design Your DC Cupcake Challenge
Who: Hello Cupcake and KitchenAid
What: Cupcake Design Competition
When: Saturday, June 5, 2010
Where: Hello Cupcake, Dupont Circle, 1361 Connecticut Ave. NW
Why: You love DC, Cupcakes and Design. We love your skills!
How: Design a cupcake inspired by your favorite DC Neighborhood. Eligible cupcakes must be dropped off on competition day from 10 a.m. to Noon. $12 registration fee per cupcake.
Winners will be announced June 5 at 2 p.m. Kitchen Aid prizes awarded for the following categories:
GRAND PRIZE - Best Overall Cupcake Design
Most Creative Use of Fondant
Most Likely to Be Eaten
Best Use of Theme
Best-Designed Political Statement (it is DC, after all!)
Grand Prize is an Artisan Series KitchenAid Stand Mixer!

From May 11th through May 16th Hello Cupcake will give 100% of the proceeds from the sale of its "Original" flavor cupcakes to Share Our Strength to help end child hunger in America. All funds raised in bake sales go directly back into the local community!
